Take the tour and Steve will weave a fabulous tour from bears to barbies and German woodblock fantasy to animal kingdoms. Very genuine and generous host. Sorry I used my camera for pictures but managed a few doll pictures with the phone. Definitely worth a visit!

This is such a charming museum. Definitely worth a stop and the price of admission. It's great to put "everyday items" on display to ask the visitor to reexamine things they may have overlooked and it's helpful to have someone so knowledgeable to guide you through that reexamination. I've left the Den of Marbletown with a renewed appreciation for teddy bears and would suggest you go yourself and see if any of the displays speak to, or growl at, you and your inner child.

great little museum with a new cafe.
this place is also perfect for bringing little ones (toddlers) as there are some games and toys in the second story.
we order some food from their menu, the roast beef with caramelized onion and cheese was really tasty. they also have bubble tea with great flavor options.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting around or even for locals to bring their kids for a little play time.
the owners seemed so sweet. they distribute a German brand of Teddy bears and stuffed animals Steiff.
Cannot wait to go back to this place.

Had a delightful stop at the Den of Marbletown on our way to the Catskill Mountains. Our two kids absolutely loved the Teddy Bear Museum, which had several exhibit areas but also a nice playroom. As an adult, I was surprised how much I liked it myself. It was fascinating to learn the history of stuffed animals, and to see the great variety in the collection.
We also had lunch at the new Den Cafe, which was quite tasty and very reasonably priced.
All in all, a great stop to break up a long drive. I think our kids will remember this museum for quite a long time.
