Teddy Bear Tea Party Oct 22

Come join the Den of Marbletown just down the road at “Meadow Feast” at High Meadow School from 11 am to 2 pm. We’ll have a charming Teddy Bear Tea party where you can have your child’s photo taken with an assortment of faux food goodies, pretend tea and of course, some wonderful Steiff friends. (A suggested donation of $5 to High Meadow School will include a link to a professional, digital jpeg of your child seated at the tea party + a coupon for 10% off of all regularly priced items in the Den’s gift shop).

Here are the links to this wonderful event: on Facebook and the Meadow Fest website. We’re excited to be a part of it.

Steiff History Display

Come see our show of key designs from Steiff’s history on display now. Here is the Richard Steiff’s 1902 Teddy Bear Workshop where he is creating the world’s first teddy bear. All tools are exact miniature replicas of the actual tools used to craft a Steiff bear, including the excelsior wood shavings to stuff the bear, a long needle to thread the nose, and a metal bin to store the glass eyes. Many of these tools are still used to this day.
