Bed & Breakfast

Come join us for “A Night at the Museum!” The Den of Marbletown features over-night accommodations for one couple or one family (with an over-flow room available to rent if you are traveling with others). This means no noisy neighbors, if you prefer quiet evenings, or if you have members in your party that haven’t mastered their “indoor voices” at night yet, you won’t need to worry about disturbing other guests.

We’re putting the last touch on the rooms now, so photos will be available soon.

Rooms

The Master Bedroom Suite (“The Wallpaper Room”): is your spacious home away from home. It has views of lovely pastures and barns out of all three windows. It has a queen bed, reading sconces, a writer’s desk, two luggage racks, free wi-fi, a reading chair, cable television. We have a “pack-and-play” crib available on request.

There is marvelous old closet that connects the master bedroom to the kid’s “double decker bedroom.”

The Double Decker Room: has two twin beds set up as a pull-out captain’s bed + a loft bed. The mini-fridge is in this room, along with a few drawers for personal belonging. We’ve noticed that seem to watch less television and spend more time on their devices, so the beds are each setup with easy access to plug in and play their own technology, and the television is in the parent’s room instead. If you want your kids to have acces to their own television, please consider renting the extra room as a television lounge for them. The double decker room also has a small table for games and art activities your family can explore in “the Marvelous Old Closet.”

The Marvelous Old Closet: is full of amenities for you to enjoy, including music and white noise machines, ipod/ipad speakers and alarm clock, a radio alarm clock, a portable type-writer, a refrigerator, classic board games, wooden blocks, matchbox cars and track, a miniature doll house with furnishing, arts and crafts supplies, pick-your-own-night-light, My Little Ponies, and an assortment of tech wires and chargers if you’ve forgotten any.

The Extra Room Available (“The Pink Sofa Room”): Do you need some extra space? Although the master suite is very spacious already, if desired, you may rent a second overnight room for other family/friends if you are traveling with a larger party. This room has a queen-sized sofa bed, cable television, a dvd player, and an X-box. This is perfect for mini-family reunions, friends traveling to a wedding together, or a slumber parties for a group of kids, or simply an extra room for your own family to use and enjoy. Please note the second room would share your bathroom; that is why we never rent the rooms to two separate parties on any given night.
